    I am a Holy Cross graduate (2009), withMy credentials include a major in economics. Four years of course workBachelor’s Degree in Economics from the major academic disciplines, combined with a focus on economics, gave me both breath and depthCollege of knowledge, as well as crucial skills in writing, critical thinking, public speaking, and quantitative reasoning. Upon graduation, I began working for IBM in a position that placed a heavy emphasis on interpersonal relationships, building teams and the use of technology to assist in communication and knowledge building. My experiences while working at IBM are proving to be particularly valuable in the classroom and the larger school community.

I have also had wonderful experiences serving as a Leave Replacement Substitute (7th/8th Grade) and as a Summer School Instructor (1st/2nd Grade) at the Mary Lyon School, a BPS Inclusive School. I strengthenedhoned my ability to meet the needsleadership, team building, and time-management skills as captain of an integratedmy Division 1 swimming team, and am comfortable juggling numerous responsibilities and diverse student populationadapting to changing priorities. Moreover, my professional roles with IBM placed a wide variety of learning needsheavy emphasis on interpersonal relationships, collaboration with clients and styles. Currently, I am workingcolleagues, as a leave replacement substitue at the Mary Lyon K-8 Schoolwell as leveraging technology to assist in Brighton, MA.     While my educational and professional background demonstrate potential for teaching excellence, I feel that my personal attributes may be my strongest suit. I am creative, with a passion for learning. I am organized and structured. Yet, I am also flexible because I understand what it’s like to juggle responsibilities and adapt to changing priorities. From kindergarten through college, I was a competitive swimmer – a student athlete. I understand the pressures that many kids face – participating in after school activities combined with completing homework assignments and studying for tests. I am a digital native with high level of proficiency in interactive multimedia technologies. Finally, I am a nurturing person. I find something special in each and every child.
